Ingredients:

– 1 cup all-purpose flour
– 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
– 1/4 tsp salt
– 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
– 1 cup granulated sugar
– 4 eggs
– 1 tsp vanilla extract
– 1 cup whole milk
– 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
– 1/2 cup evaporated milk
– 1 cup heavy whipping cream
– 2 tbsp granulated sugar (for whipped cream)
– 1 tsp vanilla extract (for whipped cream)

**Instructions:**

**1. Make the Cake:**
– Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×13 inch baking pan.
– In a bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
– In another bowl, beat the softened butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
– Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
– Gradually add the flour mixture to the butter mixture, mixing until just combined.
– Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread it evenly. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
– Once baked, let the cake cool slightly in the pan.

**2. Soak in Milk:**
– In a mixing bowl, combine the whole milk, sweetened condensed milk, and evaporated milk.
– Pierce the cooled cake all over with a fork or toothpick. This will allow the milk mixture to soak into the cake.
– Pour the three-milk mixture evenly over the cake, making sure to cover the entire surface. Allow the cake to absorb the milk mixture for at least 30 minutes, or refrigerate overnight for best results.

**3. Top with Whipped Cream:**
– In a chilled mixing bowl, beat the heavy whipping cream, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form.
– Spread the whipped cream evenly over the soaked cake.
– Optionally, garnish the cake with fresh fruit or a sprinkle of cinnamon.
– Refrigerate the cake until ready to serve.

**Serve:**
– Slice and serve the Tres Leches Cake chilled. Enjoy the creamy, moist texture and rich flavor of this classic dessert!

This Tres Leches Cake, soaked in a combination of three milks and topped with fluffy whipped cream, is sure to be a crowd-pleaser at any gathering or celebration.
