Simple & Easy Bread Recipe

Ingredients:
– 4 cups all-purpose flour
– 1 tablespoon sugar
– 1 tablespoon salt
– 1 packet (2 1/4 teaspoons) active dry yeast
– 1 1/2 cups warm water
– 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions:
1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for about 5-10 minutes until foamy.
2. Add the flour and salt to the bowl. Mix until a rough dough forms.
3. Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface for about 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
4. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a kitchen towel, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
5. Punch down the dough and shape it into a loaf. Place the loaf on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
6. Cover the loaf with a kitchen towel and let it rise again for about 30-45 minutes.
7. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
8. Once the loaf has risen, brush the top with olive oil.
9. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the bread is golden brown and sounds hollow when tapped on the bottom.
10. Let the bread cool on a wire rack before slicing and serving.
